So this cosplayer is pretty well recognized in the cosplay community, and he’s a very dear friend of mine. This is Devin, or http://dead-provocative-bro.tumblr.com/ where tumblr is concerned. He and another friend of ours were in a wreck just a little while ago on their way home from ACEN, and while both are safe and unharmed, his car is totaled and not able to get him or our friend home. I hate asking this and I know he does too, but he cant get himself home without some help. He needs funds. I may be able to go get him but I cant without gas money to go get him. But we need donations. Devin is a super sweet person and rarely asks for anything but to have a decent day (hell he’s gone out of his way to make sure i was taken care of before himself). Even if its a buck or two, you’re helping. If you cant donate just signal boost this! Every note helps as well as every penny!

Hey guys.. just wanted to say thanks for signal boosting so far.. The deer was ok and didn’t get hit.. but The car took out a sign and did a lot of damage to the front of my car. Since the OP didn’t give the source, this is from Darryl Cunningham’s graphic novel, Psychiatric Tales. it has ten other stories like this from his work in a psych hospital, and it’s one of the best introductions to mental health issues I’ve seen. I actually bought two copies when it first came out—one for me, and one to show clients. There’s apparently a second edition with even more info coming out this summer, so I expect to upgrade.
